WPC Receives AGC Safety Team Award

May 26th, 2010

WPC received an AGC Safety Team award at the AGC’s Annual Refund and Award Celebration. WPC earned this “Safety and Claims Management” award for achieving an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of .60 and for no time-loss or impairment claims in the last 3 years.

WPC is proud of our efforts company-wide to promote safety, and this award is a testament to those efforts. This award will be on display in the WPC field offices to serve as a reminder to our crews of their success. Great job by all!100_4201

Pierce County Parks Appreciation Day – April 26, 2010

April 26th, 2010

WPC employees didn’t let the wet weather interfere with their enthusiasm in cleaning up and beautifying one of Gig Harbor’s parks for Pierce County’s 9th Annual Parks Appreciation Day on April 26th. This event is one of the many ways that WPC gives back to our community, and we couldn’t do it without the dedication of our volunteers—come rain or shine. Thanks to WPC employees and their families: Neil Colombini, John & Karna Free, Dave Rutherford, Darcey Hardeman, Mickey Traugutt, Erik Bjorn, Bonnie & Mike Melchior, Kyle Sturrock, and Wade Perrow with granddaughter, Jeannie!DSCN1570 (Custom)
